PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation device capable of reducing glare even in the case a light scattering body exists in the light irradiation direction.SOLUTION: An irradiation device 1 includes: a visible light scanning unit 4 which makes scanning of an irradiation target area A by visible light Rv to follow scanning of the irradiation target area A by invisible light Ri; a scattered light receiving unit 6 which receives scattered light Rs generated by scattering invisible light Ri by a light scattering body Scat that scatters visible light Rv and invisible light Ri; and a controller 7 controlling a visible light emission unit 2 so as to emit visible light Rv to the emission direction where invisible light Ri is emitted when the light reception amount I of the scattered light receiving unit 6 is less than a scatter threshold Ith, and to stop emitting visible light Rv to the emission direction where invisible light Ri is emitted when the light reception amount I is equal to or more than the scatter threshold Ith. |
