PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head which reduces occurrence of discharge failure of ink due to deposition of ink pigment or the like and can improve printing efficiency.SOLUTION: An ink jet comprises: a plurality of nozzles for discharging ink; a plurality of pressure chambers with one ends where the ink is supplied and the other ends where the ink is collected arranged in one direction while individually communicating with the plurality of nozzles; a plurality of ink supply ports provided at one ends sides of the plurality of pressure chambers in an arrangement direction of the pressure chambers with predetermined intervals for supplying the ink to the pressure chambers; and a plurality of ink collection ports provided at the other ends sides of the pressure chambers in the arrangement direction of the pressure chambers with predetermined intervals for collecting the ink from the pressure chambers. A flow amount of the ink flowing from the plurality of ink supply ports to the plurality of ink collection ports via the pressure chambers at central portions of the pressure chambers in the arrangement direction is less in comparison with that at both ends portions. |
