1. A liquid crystal display device, comprising:
a liquid crystal display panel including R, G, and B color filter layers to implement R, G, and B colors; and a backlight having a white light emitting diode (W-LED) on the liquid crystal display panel, the W-LCD including a blue light emitting diode (LED) for emitting a blue light and a fluorescence layer on the blue LED to supply a white light to the liquid crystal display panel, wherein the R-color filter layer includes an anthraquinone pigment having a chemical formula as follows:
