<p>The invention relates to the industry for producing bath accessories, such as inter alia taps and bathroom furniture. In particular, the invention relates to the industry for producing flow meters for urinals and toilets, and more specifically, the invention relates to the production of flow meters for making the use of water efficient. The invention provides a solution to the problem of controlling the quantity of water discharged to the item of bathroom furniture. The invention discharges a constant volume of water, independent of the hydrostatic pressure in the line. The device complies with existing water-use regulations while continuing to clean the furniture item in an efficient manner. In addition, the device reduces the consumption of water, and adjusts automatically to the frequency of use. Therefore, none of the water used for said flow meter is wasted. The electronic flow meter uses water in an efficient manner and is of the type that comprises an electronic circuit having a microcontroller that powers the discharge-actuation system. The electronic flow meter is characterised by comprising a pressure sensor that sends electronic data, relating to the supply pressure, to the controller.</p> |
