<p>The present invention relates to a method for searching by a navigation unit, the method comprising the steps of: a controller performing a basic search for keywords input by a user, and then determining whether an additional search is needed; if the additional search is determined to be necessary, performing the additional search using the input keywords; and outputting the list of the search results according to the basic search or the additional search, wherein the step of performing the additional search includes at least one of steps of performing the additional search by excluding a special character included in the entered keywords or performing the additional search on the basis of a synonym of the entered keywords.</p> |
