<p>An apparatus and a method for inputting an English phoneme comprises the steps of: storing in connection with one or more English phoneme information, which have set priorities different from each other, in each of a plurality of handwritten information that are set based on an uppercase form of a plurality of English phonemes; emulating first priority English phoneme information among the English phoneme information linked to relevant handwritten information by a keyboard input when a gesture entered by a user is handwritten information; detecting next priority English phoneme information linked to the same handwritten information with the English phoneme information that is previously detected when the gesture entered by the user is a touch tap; and replacing the English phoneme information that is previously entered with the detected English phoneme information and emulating with a keyboard input.</p> |
