PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which allows for light intensity measurement at a position different from the light emitting position. ! SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 9 includes a luminous layer 11, and a pair of electrode layers 13, 15 arranged while sandwiching the luminous layer 11. The electrode layer 13 is formed of a transparent electrode material. The electrode layer 13 includes a light-emitting position pattern 13a arranged at a light-emitting position 19 where the luminous layer 11 and the electrode layers 13, 15 overlap, and a light extraction pattern 13b led out from a position overlapping the luminous layer 11. In the light-emitting element 9, light is emitted from the light-emitting position 19 to the outside, and also emitted from the light extraction pattern 13b to the outside. !
