PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine which maintains ignition performance even at the deterioration of a spark plug, and can stably drive the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an internal combustion engine controls the internal combustion engine 10 having a spark plug 2. The control device 1 has a connection passage 31 for connecting the spark plug 2 and an ignition coil 310, and a constant voltage passage 32 which prevents the application of a voltage not lower than a set voltage Vto a spark discharge gap, and an operation control circuit 4 which controls an operation condition of the internal combustion engine 10. The operation control circuit 4 is constituted so as to be capable of measuring a circulation time t at which a current flows to the constant voltage passage 32 when the voltage not lower than the set voltage Vis applied to the constant voltage passage 32. The operation condition of the internal combustion engine 10 is changed according to the circulation time t. |
