<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction in energy consumption of a hydrate solid drying device and downsizing of the device.SOLUTION: A hydrate solid drying device includes: a preheating heat exchanger 11 preheating a hydrate solid using hot water and the gas medium as a heat source; a fluidized bed dryer 12 forming a fluidized state of a fluidized bed of the preheated hydrate solid by steam, heating the hydrate solid using compressed steam as a heat source, evaporating water contained in the hydrate solid to separate the water as steam, and supplying a dried solid; a heat-recovery heat exchanger 15 cooling the dried solid using a gas medium as a cold source, and recovering heat in the gas medium; and a gas compressor 16 increasing a temperature of the gas medium recovering the heat by compressing the gas. The steam is recovered from the fluidized bed dryer 12, part of the steam is supplied as steam and a remainder of the steam is supplied as compressed steam the temperature of which is increased by compression, to the fluidized bed dryer 12. At least part of the compressed steam is condensed to hot water and the hot water is supplied together with the gas medium to the preheating heat exchanger 11.</p> |
