The invention relates to a method for producing a floorboard. The floorboard comprises a carrier plate and a top-side veneer (2, 3). For production, individual veneers (2, 3) are laid onto an extensive starting carrier plate (1), wherein adjacent veneers (2, 3) are positioned apart from each other on the starting carrier plate (1) such that a gap (6) is formed. A resin layer (4) is provided between the starting carrier plate (1) and the veneers (2, 3). A balancing layer is arranged on the bottom side of the starting carrier plate (1). The multi-layer body thus formed is then hot-pressed in a press, and the starting carrier plate (1) and the veneers (2, 3) are adhesively bonded by means of the resin (5) of the resin layer (4). The balancing layer is connected to the bottom side of the starting carrier plate (1). Then the pressed multi-layer body is divided into individual floorboards, wherein the division is performed in the region of a gap (6) between two adjacent veneers (2, 3). The individual floorboards are profiled on lateral edges thereof and provided with connecting means. When the lateral edges are profiled, a gap remainder filled with resin can be removed or can be used to form a visible edge strip along the veneer. |
