<p>Provided is a liquid surface detection device that does not impart discomfort to a driver and of which the output changes alongside the movements of a float. The liquid surface detection device (F) is provided with: a float arm (6) provided at one end with the float; a holder (2) that holds the float arm (6) and a magnet (2a); a main body (1) that supports the holder (2) in a rotatable manner; and a detection unit (3) that detects the displacement of the magnet (2a). The holder is provided with at least a first and second abutment section (24, 25, 26). The main body (1) is provided with a first and second stopper (1e1, 1e2) that abut the first and second abutment sections (24, 25, 26), and is provided with a third and fourth stopper (4d1, 4e1) that abut the holder (2) or the float arm (6) provided to the holder (2). The range of rotation regulated by the third and fourth stoppers (4d1, 4e1) is narrower than the range of rotation regulated by the first and second stoppers (1e1, 1e2). The detection unit (3) detects the displacement of the magnet (2a) in the range of rotation regulated by the first and second stoppers (1e1, 1e2).</p> |
