PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive supply of lubricating oil to a guide rail with a simple structure. ! SOLUTION: A guide rail oiling device of an elevator comprises: a support member 31 provided in a guide shoe 11; an application member 32 that contacts a guide rail 5 and applies lubricating oil; a slider 33 that is positioned by contacting the guide rail 5; a turning member 34, one end and the another end of which are attached to the application member 32 and the slider 33, respectively, whose intermediate part is turnably connected to the support member 31; and an energizing structure 35 that energizes the turning member 34 in a direction in which the application member 32 separates from the guide rail 5. In a stopped state of an elevator car and in a state where the lubricating oil is filled in the guide rail 5, the turning member 34 forms an initial attitude that positions the application member 32 away from the guide rail.
