PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric steering lock device capable of removing foreign matters deposited on a power supply limit relay.SOLUTION: A power supply limit relay 35 is provided on the upstream side of a motor drive control part 22 of a motor power supply path 24 to the motor drive control part 22. A conduction detection part 36 for detecting a conduction state of the power supply limit relay 35 is provided between the power supply limit relay 35 and the motor drive control part 22. When the power supply limit relay 35 is switched to the conduction state in a contact state where an unlock control relay 25 and a lock control relay 26 are connected to the ground side, if the conduction detection part 36 does not detect the conduction state, a microcomputer 19 switches the power supply limit relay 35 to a cut-off state. In a state where either one of the contact states of the unlock/lock control relays 25, 26 is switched, the microcomputer 19 executes relay switching control for switching the power supply limit relay 35 to the conduction state. |
