PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently and reliably apply heat retained by circulation water to laundry in a drum while inhibiting the absorption of the circulation water into the laundry in the drum.SOLUTION: When determining that a water level in a water receiving tub 7 has reached the upper end of a water storage part 13, a control part 65 closes a water supply valve 27 to stop water supply. The control part 65 drives a motor 29 to rotate a drum 9 normally and reversely while causing a circulation pump 37 to circulate circulation water, at this time the circulation water discharged from a main discharge end part 45 flows down to the upper end part of a side wall part 9c of the drum 9. When flowing down, the circulation water reaches positions which deviate from through-holes 9d, 9d, ... in the outer peripheral surface of the side wall part 9c of the drum 9, so that the circulation water drops along the outer peripheral surface of the side wall part 9c without passing through the through-holes 9d, 9d, ... and being absorbed into laundry in the drum 9. |
