PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a second quarter pillar from falling downward in a vehicle vertical direction to cause falling-down deformation.SOLUTION: By adding torsional input to a vehicle 10, a second quarter pillar 50 is deformed so as to fall downward in a vehicle vertical direction. The falling-down deformation of the second quarter pillar 50 is received by a connection member 70 whose lower end part 74 is bonded to a bonded part of a lower end part 40A of a first quarter pillar 40 and a wheel house 30. Consequently, the connection member 70 whose lower end part 74 is firmly fixed receives the falling-down deformation of the second quarter pillar 50, so that the falling-down deformation of the second quarter pillar 50 is effectively suppressed. |
