PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the state of an automatic teller machine.SOLUTION: An automatic teller machine monitoring system 1 includes an auto-phone device 2, an automatic teller machine 7 and a terminal device 9 connected with the auto-phone device 2 via a public line 10. The auto-phone device 2 acquires state information 8 of the automatic teller machine 7 in accordance with a notification from the automatic teller machine 7 and stores the state information 8. Upon receiving a response request of the stored state information 8 from the terminal device 9 by a tone signal, the auto-phone device 2 responds the state information 8 requested by the response request to the terminal device 9 in voice via the public line 10. |
