PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method which allow for correction to an image from which disturbance is removed, by restoring the saturation or sharpness while taking account of the positional deviation. ! SOLUTION: The device includes: an image acquisition unit 50 for acquiring an infrared light image and a visible light image from at least one imaging device; an image correction unit 51 performing saturation correction for the visible light image acquired by the image acquisition unit 50; and a composition image generation unit 52 for correcting the positional deviation of the infrared light image and the visible light image with corrected saturation by using lightness information of the infrared light image acquired by the image acquisition unit 50, and saturation information and hue information of the visible light image corrected by the image correction unit 51, and generating a composite image by synthesizing the infrared light image and the visible light image subjected to correctio
