PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad-crossing barrier in which when elevation motion of an intercepting bar is stopped, the intercepting bar is not oscillated. ! SOLUTION: During a motor power source is supplied and a cam switch CS is not detected, a motor drive control part 10 controls drive of a motor 3 according to a control input, thereby rising or lowering an intercepting bar. Further, the motor drive control part gradually reduces a rotational speed of the motor 3 and stops the motor according to detection of the cam switch CS. On the other hand, supply of the motor power source is stopped when the cam switch CS is detected and the motor 3 is not driven (falling of a relay CR3). Consequently, even if the intercepting bar reaches a reference position and this is detected by the cam switch CS, supply of the motor power source is not immediately stopped, a rotational speed of the motor 3 is gradually reduced and the motor can be stopped. !
