Embodiments of a method for creating a methodology implementation that supplements a business application are described. In one embodiment, a comprehensive customer engagement methodology is maintained on a server and defines processes and disciplines related to the business application. A series of requests is received from a collaborative computing environment. The series of requests collectively represent a request for a collection of documents and related metadata included in the comprehensive customer engagement methodology. The series of requests are then responded to by providing a copy of the collection of documents and related metadata.

1. A computer-implemented method for facilitating creation of a methodology implementation that supplements an application, the method comprising:
receiving, at a server component, a series of requests originating from a collaborative computing environment that is separate from the server component, the series of requests collectively representing a request for a collection of documents and related metadata that define processes and disciplines related to the application, the collaborative computing environment comprising a hosting environment for the methodology implementation; and responding to the series of requests by providing, over a network from the server component to the collaborative computing environment, a copy of the collection of documents and related metadata to host the methodology implementation at the collaborative computing environment.
