An air conditioning system capable of reducing time required by a user to update an air conditioning management program, comprising: an air conditioner having a plurality of functions; a smart phone (50); an adapter (20a); and a server (40). The smart phone (50) is carried by the user of the air conditioner and has an air conditioning management application (54). The adapter (20a) and the server (40) use a public network (80) and exchange information between the air conditioner and the smart phone (50). The air conditioner stores held function information (18a) being information in relation to functions of the air conditioner. The air conditioning management application (54) reads the held function information (18a), via the adapter (20a) and the server (40), and generates an air conditioner management screen displayed on a touch panel (55) in the smart phone (50) in accordance with the information (18a).
