Disclosed is a document editing skill, which is great in lightweightness and security, and capable of cutting out and storing important parts of a portable document format (PDF) file in the present invention. According to the present invention, an apparatus for editing a document comprises: a document storage portion for storing at least one document file; a cutout portion where a region of interest is selected by a user for the document file displayed through a display portion of a first terminal, and cutting out the region of interest; and an interest area region storage portion for storing the region of interest.
