PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable capable of obtaining favorable identification properties and waterproof characteristics.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable comprises: optical fiber units 1a to 1c having optical fibers 11a to 11c, binding members 12a to 12c wound around an outer periphery of the optical fibers 11a to 11c, and water absorption tapes 13a to 13c which are disposed together with the optical fibers 11a to 11c inside the binding members 12a to 12c and to which at least coloring or marks are given; a press-wrapping tape 2 for covering an outer periphery of the optical fiber units 1a to 1c; and a sheath 3 for covering an outer periphery of the press-wrapping tape 2. |
