PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic material primer composition that can form a primer layer having excellent adhesion and film-forming properties on the surface of a variety of metallic material such as ordinary steel, stainless steel, aluminum and aluminum alloy, and that can impart excellent adhesive strength and adhesion durability when adhered with an epoxy-based adhesive.SOLUTION: Provided is a metallic material primer composition containing epoxy resin, curative, cure catalyst and inorganic oxide filler and in which it is characterized in that: as epoxy resin a bifunctional epoxy resin comprising bisphenol A type epoxy resin, and a polyfunctional of tri or more functional epoxy resin comprising phenol novolak type epoxy resin are combined; as curative a cyan diamide, as cure catalyst an imidazole, as inorganic oxide filler a silica and a titanium oxide are contained; a solvent is not contained; and as the dispersant an acidic dispersant is contained. |
