PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly obtain an output voltage of a step-up converter while achieving simplification of the structure.SOLUTION: A voltage detection device is applicable to a buck-boost converter 20 stepping up power inputted from a storage battery 40. The buck-boost converter 20 includes a high-voltage-side smoothing capacitor 25 smoothing an output voltage. A negative electrode of the storage battery 40 and one of both terminals of the high-voltage-side smoothing capacitor 25 are connected to a predetermined reference voltage. A battery voltage sensor 28 is connected to a positive electrode and the negative electrode of the storage battery 40, and detects an input voltage inputted to the buck-boost converter 20. A difference voltage sensor 27 detects a difference voltage that is a difference voltage between the output voltage and the input voltage of the buck-boost converter 20. A controller 26 obtains the detection value of the input voltage and the detection value of the difference voltage, and calculates the sum of both the obtained detection values as an output voltage outputted from the buck-boost converter 20. |
