PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the transition over a plurality of screens and enable the selection of screens in a transition destination on the basis of a simple operation to buttons (keys).SOLUTION: A display input device includes a display unit and a touch panel unit. When the touch panel unit receives a predetermined first operation, the display unit starts display in a transmission transition mode, and performs transmission transition display of gradually fading out a transition source screen with the lapse of time and increasing the display rate of a transition destination screen located in a layer immediately below the transition source screen with the lapse of time. When the touch panel unit receives a second operation during the transmission transition display, the display unit resumes the transmission transition display while taking a screen corresponding to a selected button as a transition destination screen.
