PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact IC card having a simple structure and a uniform thickness, and a method for simply manufacturing the IC card.SOLUTION: A noncontact IC card (20) comprises: an IC chip (1); a first core sheet (7A) having a first recess (7a) which is capable of fitting the IC chip 1 and is a depressed part, for example, counterbored and having a bottom; and a second core sheet (7B) having a second recess (7b) which is formed at a position corresponding to the first recess (7a), is capable of fitting the lower part of the IC chip and is a depressed part, for example, counterbored and having a bottom. When the first and second recesses (7a and 7b) are arranged to face each other, the IC chip (1) is fitted in the total recess. |
