PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In a method for controlling an internal combustion engine including a drive output shaft connected to an input shaft of a transmission, an internal combustion engine and the transmission are included in a vehicle drive system. The method comprises the steps to obtain: a rotation speed of the drive output shaft of the internal combustion engine; rotational acceleration of the drive output shaft on the basis of a rotation speed of the drive output shaft; dynamic torque of the internal combustion engine as a product of the rotational acceleration and dynamic inertia moment; and maximum combustion torque of the internal combustion engine from a sum of predetermined maximum torque of the input shaft of the transmission and dynamic load torque of the internal combustion engine. |
