PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve inventory work at low cost and with a simple system, based on inventory target commodities collected by a portable terminal using a scanner and a place where the commodities are placed. ! SOLUTION: A scanner 11 reads identification display for identifying commodities 14 which are inventory targets and identification display for identifying a place 13 where the commodities 14 are placed, and by receiving actual number data of the commodities 14 read by the scanner 11, and place data where the commodities 14 are placed, a portable terminal 12 compares the actual number data and commodity data stored in a database 23 corresponding to the place where the commodities are placed, and when there is difference between these pieces of data, by executing inventory management program, commodity stock record of the database 23 is rewritten for adjusting the difference. !
