PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wind noise and wind loss. ! SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 10 comprises: a first end face plate 33 and second end face plate 34 for sandwiching a rotor 12 from both sides in the axial direction of a rotary shaft 13; a bearing housing 14b supporting the rotary shaft 13 of the rotor 12; a stator 11 around which a coil 23 is wound; a coil crossing part 24 axially projecting outwards from an end part of the stator 11; and a first coil support member 41 and second coil support member 42 both of which are annular and radially support the coil crossing part 24. The first end face plate 33 has an extension part 33a radially extending toward the stator 11 beyond the leading end face 32a of the rotor 11.
