PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gapless magnetic core which is excellent in quality, such as magnetic characteristics, and has small variations of the characteristics, and is excellent in manufacturing efficiency, a coil device using the core, and a manufacturing method of the coil device.SOLUTION: A gapless magnetic core 10 is formed by: cutting off an annular member including an annular magnetic body 21 made of a magnetic material at a first cutting part and a second cutting part which traverse an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface and come closer to each other toward an inner peripheral direction of the annular member, to obtain a body 30 having a first end surface 32 cut off at the first cutting part and a second end surface 33 cut off at the second cutting part and a segment 40 having a first end surface 43 cut off at the first cutting part and a second end surface 44 cut off at the second cutting part; and pressing the segment into a cutout part 31 formed between first end surface and the second end surface of the body such that the first end surfaces 32,42 are brought into contact with each other and the second end surfaces 33,43 are brought into contact with each other. |
