<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiling water reactor control rod capable of improving deformation following performance while maintaining a loading weight of a neutron absorber.SOLUTION: In a boiling water reactor control rod 1 including four blades 2a to 2d including neutron absorber loading regions each storing therein a neutron absorber and orthogonal to one another, a plurality of regions formed in a neutral axis direction of the control rod 1 include: a first region that has a first cross-section in which the four blades 2a to 2d are coupled together; a second region that has a second cross-section in which the four blades 2a to 2d are separated from one another; and a plurality of third regions each of which has a third cross-section in which a pair of blades 2b and 2d arranged to face each other among the four blades 2a to 2d are coupled to each other by bridge sections 6b and 7b and the other pair of blades 2a and 2c arranged to be orthogonal to the bridge sections 6b and 7b are separated from each other, and that are arranged between the first and second regions in the neutral axis direction of the control rod 1, a plate thickness of the bridge section 7b in at least one of the third regions being smaller than a plate thickness of the blade 2b so as to increase a distance at which the blades 2a and 2c orthogonal to the bridge sections 7b and 7a interfere with the bridge sections 7b and 7a.</p> |
