摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power oscillation detection delay due to degradation in the sensitivity of LPRM detectors.SOLUTION: A reactor core power oscillation monitoring apparatus 50 according to an embodiment includes: a cell-average calculation unit 14 receiving input cell power set signals, and calculating a cell average value; a time-average calculation unit 15 calculating a cell time average value that is a time average of the cell average value for predetermined time; a normalized-cell-value calculation unit 16 calculating a normalized cell value that is a ratio of the cell average value to the cell time average value; a trip determination unit 17 outputting a nuclear reactor trip signal if any of a magnitude of amplitude of the normalized cell value, an increasing rate of the amplitude, and an oscillating state in a specific cycle exceeds a defined value; and a signal-defined-value adjustment unit 13 adjusting a correspondence between the normalized cell value and a defined value so as to compensate for degradation in a neutron flux sensitivity of each LPRM detector 1 and to maintain a function to transmit the nuclear reactor trip signal.</p>
