摘要 Provided is a lithium ion secondary cell having exceptional cycle life, by which any increase in thickness of an edge face of a negative electrode binder layer is mitigated and the coating surface of the negative electrode mixture layer is made uniform, with electrode defects being minimized. The present invention is a lithium ion secondary cell provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a non-aqueous solvent and a supporting salt, the lithium ion secondary cell being characterized in that: the negative electrode contains a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer; the negative electrode mixture layer contains a negative electrode active material, a binder, a first solvent, and a second solvent; the binder is at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyimide, a polyamide imide, and a polyamide; the first solvent is N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone; and the second solvent has a lower surface tension than the first solvent.
