PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration actuator which is easily manufactured at low costs, and to provide an optical device.SOLUTION: A vibration actuator 10 of the invention includes: an electromechanical conversion element 12 which generates vibrations when a drive signal is input thereto; an elastic body 15 which is joined to the electromechanical conversion element 12 and generates vibration waves on a drive surface by the vibrations; and a relative motion member 15 having a slide surface that is placed in pressure contact with the drive surface of the elastic body 15 and driven by the vibration waves. The relative motion member 15 is produced by a resin material and surface treatment is performed on the slide surface. |
