PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that enables reduction in operation force upon replacing an image retaining body and/or a belt member.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: a device body; an opening/closing member that is openably/closably provided in the device body; and toner image retaining means that is adapted to be movable between a first contact position at which an image retaining body retaining a toner image formed by a plurality of toner image formation means contacts with all of the toner image formation means and a second contact position at which the image retaining body contacts with at least one of the toner image formation means. When the opening/closing member is opened to the device body or a power source supplying power to the device body is shut off, the image retaining body is configured to be moved to the second contact position. |
