PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing protective tape that can inhibit propagation of fungi and bacteria on a sealing surface without replacing the sealing, by a simple and easy operation, without the need of a post-process such as drying or curing as in the case with a liquid treatment, free from extrusion when applied to sealing of a narrow portion, and without requiring troublesome treatment even when repeating antibacterial and antifungal treatment. ! SOLUTION: A sealing protective tape is applied to sealing of a joined structural body in a food factory, a pharmaceutical factory, a clean room and the like and is composed of a band-like projection part containing an antibacterial and antifungal agent for adhering closely to a sealed joint and a substrate tape containing an antibacterial and antifungal agent for attaching to the structural body while covering the band-like projection part.
