PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet waste disposal material that enables determination before and after use thereof, and the checking of a state of health, simultaneously and properly.SOLUTION: A pet waste disposal material comprises a core portion having water absorbing properties, and a surface layer covering the core portion and revealing a color of the core portion when absorbing urination. The pet waste disposal material is characterized as follows: the core portion is formed such that a compounding agent using paper powder and organic or inorganic micro-particles as a main material is added with water and kneaded, and then is subjected to compression granulation; recesses or/and protrusions are formed on the surface of the core portion by the deformation of the micro-particles or the peeling between the micro-particles and the paper powder in the compression release; the surface of the core portion is colored in a non-consecutive manner by using the recesses or/and protrusions; the surface of the core portion colored in the non-consecutive manner is covered by the surface layer; the color of the coloring part on the surface of the core portion is revealed through the surface layer in the urination absorption; and alternatively, the non-coloring part of the core portion surface is dyed by an urination color, and the urination color is revealed through the surface layer. |
