Said method includes, for N input packets, generating (N+K-1) first encoded packets and (N+K2) second encoded packets, the first encoded packets being obtained by a first convolution associated with a first generating polynomial G1 other than 1, and of degree K-1, and the second encoded packets being obtained by a second convolution associated with a second generating polynomial G2 other than 1, and of degree K2, said generating polynomials being mutually prime. The invention also relates to a method for correcting deletions, including a first phase of recovering deleted encoded packets, and a second phase of decoding non-deleted or recovered encoded packets.
