Disclosed are a method and device for recognizing a data stream. The method comprises: receiving a data stream of a first application and a data stream of a second application; extracting a common resource address in the data stream of the first application and the data stream of the second application; when the common resource address contains a server address of the first application, determining that the data stream of the first application belongs to the second application; and when the common resource address contains a server address of the second application, determining that the data stream of the second application belongs to the first application. The present invention can recognize the application to which the data stream belongs more accurately, thereby supplying more accurate data to the services, such as traffic statistics, charging, etc., and therefore, the user experience is improved. |
