<p>The present invention relates to a headlamp having an optical system using a hyperbola, comprising: a reflector having a reflective surface arranged on a part of the trace of a hyperbola; a light source which is located at the focus of the reflector to irradiate light to the reflective surface; and an aspherical lens having an incident surface. The reflector and the light source are arranged in a space between the focus of the aspherical lens and the incident surface of the aspherical lens. Therefore, the headlamp having an optical system using a hyperbola has a reduced size when compared with a projection-type headlamp for a vehicle.</p> |
