The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method to control the same, enabling the realization of more convenient usage of a terminal. According to at least one among embodiments of the present invention, the mobile terminal detects an input of tapping and the strength of the input of tapping, and provides an intuitive control method of the mobile terminal through a result of the detection.
