PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protective film having excellent adhesiveness to a polarizer and capable of developing a sufficient antistatic property.SOLUTION: The polarizer protective film includes a polyester film and an easy adhesion layer on both surfaces of the polyester film. At least one easy adhesion layer contains an organic conducive material; the polyester film shows a retardation (Re) in an in-plane direction of 4000 to 30000 nm and a ratio (Re/Rth) of the in-plane retardation to a retardation (Rth) in a thickness direction of 0.6-1.2; and a melt sub-peak temperature (Tsm) of the polyester film is 130 to 185°C.
