PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that enables prevention of increase in service costs.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: an oscillation adjustment unit 63 that adjusts a natural frequency of a fourth optical system 6; a measurement unit that measures oscillation information indicative of a change in oscillation; a control unit 600 that is capable of independently driving a plurality of units including a prescribed drive system; and a storage unit 603 that stores a drive frequency for each unit. The control unit 600 further comprises: a first measurement control unit that causes the measurement unit to measure oscillation information when adjusted to a drive frequency at an initial state; an initial value storage control unit that causes the oscillation information subjected to the measurement by a control of the first measurement unit to be stored as initial oscillation information; a second measurement control unit that causes the measurement unit to measure oscillation information when adjusted to a drive frequency of a unit of an inspection object; a comparison unit that compares the measured oscillation information with the initial oscillation information when adjusted to the drive frequency of the unit of the inspection object; and an abnormality determination unit that determines abnormality. |
