PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell capable of preventing occurrence of hot spot phenomenon.SOLUTION: A solar cell includes: a single conductivity type crystal silicon substrate 10 which has a first principal plane 11 and a second principal plane 12 formed at the side opposite to the first principal plane 11; an other-conductivity-type amorphous silicon film 23 formed over the first principal plane 11; and a single conductivity type amorphous silicon film 24 formed over the second principal plane 12. In a peripheral part S of the crystal silicon substrate 10, fragile parts 25 and 33 are formed, where a pn-junction between the other-conductivity-type amorphous silicon film 23 and the crystal silicon substrate 10 is easily broken. |
