PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propulsion type work ship equipped with a heavy machine which can perform operations such as recovery of waste including debris, damaged objects, and the like generated on the water surface of the sea, a river, a lake, etc., demolition work, and dredging work, does not require a large storage space, and can operate on the surface of shallow water.SOLUTION: A self-propulsion type work ship 100 equipped with a heavy machine comprises: a hull 1 formed by connecting a plurality of hull constituent members 1a-1d arranged in parallel from a bow to a stern; and a hull propulsion machine 2 for propelling the hull. The hull is provided with a recessed part 3 for mounting a heavy machine which is formed by opening the upper surface and the bow side of the hull. Each of the plurality of hull constituent members comprises a connection mechanism 5 for connecting the adjacent hull constituent members in a separable manner. A distance from a bottom surface to a water line is a depth that enables the ship to travel on water without running aground when the heavy machine is mounted. |
