PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment capture member for an erosion control dam in which the shape of a filler is simple, manufacture is easy, and the installation operation of the filler in the construction is easy, and to provide the erosion control dam using the same.SOLUTION: A sediment capture member 3 for an erosion control dam includes: two or more beam members 11 extending horizontally and disposed side by side in the vertical direction; and a filler 13a filled in the inside of a groove 8, while both ends 11a, 11b of each beam member 11 are inserted in the inside of the groove 8 extending in the vertical direction on the inside surface of both dam body parts 4, 5 facing a water channel 7. Both ends 11a, 11b of the beam member 11 have a rectangular outer shape having upper surfaces 23, lower surfaces 24, upstream side surfaces 25 facing the upstream of the water channel 7 and downstream side surfaces 26 facing the downstream side of the water channel 7 when viewed from the axial direction of the beam member 11. The filler 11a is structured by one piece of flat plate-shaped member. The filler 11a is disposed in the position coming into abutment with the upstream side surfaces 25 of both ends 11a, 11b of the beam member. |
