ORGANIC PIGMENT COMPOSITION FOR COLOR FILTER, PRODUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME, AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior color filter having high contrast and luminance and a good balance of these optical characteristics, an organic pigment composition suitable for obtaining the color filter, and a production method of the composition. ! SOLUTION: The organic pigment composition for a color filter comprises: a dichlorodiketopyrrolopyrole pigment containing 0.5 to 40% of a β-type dichlorodiketopyrrolopyrole pigment and the balance of an α-type dichlorodiketopyrrolopyrole pigment; and with respect to 100 parts in terms of a mass of the dichlorodiketopyrrolopyrole pigment, 0.1 to 10 parts of phthalimide alkylated quinacridone.
