[Solution] A microscope image processing device (100) is provided with a microscope image acquiring means for acquiring a microscope image from a surgical microscope (200), an image conversion means for converting the microscope image acquired by the microscope image acquiring means into a three-dimensional image, a surgical instrument position specifying means for specifying the position of a surgical instrument in the three-dimensional image converted by the image conversion means, a distance computing means for computing the distance between a surgical target region of a patient set in advance and the position of the surgical instrument specified by the surgical instrument position specifying means, and an image outputting means for outputting an output image in which distance information indicating the distance computed by the distance computing means is displayed in a three-dimensional image to a display device.
