The present invention relates to a gear-shifting control apparatus for a vehicle, comprising: a GPS sensor detecting a position of a vehicle; a navigation system outputting short distance road information and long distance road information by using the position of a vehicle; a vehicle control unit restoring front road information by using the short distance road information and the long distance road information and calculating a degree of a winding road and an average gradient by using the front road information; and a gear-shifting operating unit controlling a gear-shifting pattern of a transmission by using the degree of a winding road and the average gradient.
