METHOD FOR PROVIDING MOVEMENT PARALLAX OF PARTIAL IMAGE IN MULTIVIEW STEREOSCOPIC DISPLAY AND APPARATUS USING THEREOF

A method to provide movement parallax of a partial image in a multi-view stereoscopic display and an apparatus thereof are provided. A method to provide movement parallax in a multi-view stereoscopic display comprises steps of: generating a multi-view image based on reference time point images; segmenting an interest area or an interest object, selected in the multi-view image; generating middle time point images of the interest area or the interest object by changing a reference time point image of the segmented interest area or the interest object; and synthesizing the generated middle time point images with the multi-view image.
